Our Mission and Goals

To attain the goals of the organisation, QUALANOD endeavours especially

to harmonise European quality standards for processes applied in the anodising industry

to develop and improve these standards

to enforce the standards in anodising plants

to establish quality labels based on these standards, to protect the standards with international trademarks and to maintain the standards

to grant licenses to use the quality label to recognised national associations or directly to firms in countries without a national association

to issue uniform instructions to the licensed associations or firms

to advise in order to promote the object of the association.

The contact and coordinating office is the Secretariat, managed by Josef Schoppig of AC Treuhand AG in Zurich. It coordinates the work with the Executive Committee, Technical Committee and various working groups. AC Treuhand AG is accredited according to EN 45011 as a certification body for products of the aluminium finishing industry.
